The official LoongBuy wordmark Spreadsheet Haulparcel guide

6terms

A glossary of the six words that move the bill

Every one of these appears on an official page, and every one of them is a number in disguise. Together they are the whole cost breakdown of an agent parcel, in the order a first haul meets them.

If you only remember two, make them chargeable weight and first weight. The first explains why a light box can be expensive; the second explains why a second box is expensive.

Set by the warehouse3

Warehoused, chargeable weight, declared value. All three are produced after you have already bought.

Set by the route3

Volumetric divisor, first weight, additional weight unit. All three are chosen when you pick a line.

Five product photos in a row labelled Dense, Light and bulky, Compressible, Boxed and Liquid: logo-buckle belts, a black puffer jacket, printed joggers, white leather sneakers, and ten boxed designer fragrances
The five groups the rest of this guide sorts the catalogue into.

The six terms, with the number attached to each

Where the official page carries an update date, it is given. Where a figure is our own measurement, the date it was measured is given instead and no source is implied.

TermWhat it meansThe number, and where it comes from
WarehousedThe order status at which an item is stored and its free period begins.90 days free, 180 maximum. Official Storage page, updated 21 April 2026.
Chargeable weightThe greater of actual weight and volumetric weight. What the fee is multiplied against. No fixed number. Official Parcel and Billing Rules page, updated 14 April 2026.
Volumetric divisorThe number the box volume is divided by, belonging to the route rather than the parcel.6000 on UPS-F, 8000 on DHL-B. Same page, same date.
First weightThe minimum a route will bill. Below it, lighter costs the same.500 g on 236 routes, 200 g on 162. Our own measurement, 29 July 2026.
Additional weight unitThe repeating step above the first weight. Everything inside one step costs the same.100 g on 294 routes, 500 g on 120. Our own measurement, 29 July 2026.
Declared valueThe figure you give at submission, chosen between a recommendation and your own number.Yours. Official Customs and Taxes page, updated 14 April 2026.
Four product photos in a row labelled Shoebox, Retail box, Hard case and Watch box: white leather sneakers, boxed JBL speakers, sunglasses in front of white boxes, and nine steel wristwatches
Four categories where the difference between actual and chargeable weight is largest.

Frequently asked, by people who already have a box going

Eight questions in the words readers use, each answered from the page it rests on. If you need help with an order itself rather than with the arithmetic, this guide cannot act on it: the operator's own live chat, its help centre and its Discord server are the only places that can. For a correction to something written here, the address is in the footer.

I have four things in the warehouse and want to add two more. Is that a problem?

Only for the clock. Adding items costs nothing in storage for the new ones, but the parcel still has to leave before the earliest item's ninety free days run out. Check how long the oldest one has been sitting there before you order anything slow.

My parcel weighs 2.1 kg. Is it worth removing the shoebox to get under 2 kg?

Only if 2 kg is a band edge on your route. Freight steps in fixed units, so grams removed inside a band change nothing. If the route bills in 500 gram units then 2.1 kg and 2.5 kg cost the same, and the saving is zero.

The quote came back higher than the estimate I paid. Why?

The estimate was based on the goods and a guess at the carton; the warehouse measured what it actually packed. The official page names five causes: larger packed volume, heavier packing material, retained original packaging, the carrier recalculating by volume, and crossing into a new charging band.

I overestimated the weight. Do I get the difference back?

Automatically, only if the shortfall is bigger than the route's additional weight charging range. A 60 gram overestimate on a route billing in 100 gram units sits inside one step and stays on the bill.

Is one big parcel always cheaper than two small ones?

Usually, because each parcel pays a first weight and a handling fee from zero. But not always: in our July snapshot the cheapest route to the United States stopped quoting above five kilograms and the price per kilogram went back up. Combining pays until the cheap route for your destination drops out.

How heavy is too heavy?

There is no published maximum in the official help pages. What there is: the Customs and Taxes page lists parcels over roughly ten kilograms among the factors that raise inspection probability and recommends staying under it, and the estimator recommends splitting when only one route matches your parcel.

A down jacket is only 1.2 kg. Why is it the expensive thing in my box?

Because the carrier may not be charging you for its weight. Volumetric weight is the box dimensions divided by a route divisor, and a loose jacket can convert to several kilograms. Vacuum packaging is on the official add-on list for exactly this.

What does the rehearsal actually get me?

The warehouse packs, measures, weighs and quotes the parcel before you formally submit, for CNY 20 paid in advance. Submit that same parcel afterwards and the fee may be fully deducted from the shipping fee. Walk away or change the order, and it is not refunded.

A first LoongBuy order, from discovery to receipt

  1. Check the listing. Match the exact colour and size to the seller’s chart, read recent item reviews and check the domestic delivery fee. Save the product link and agreed options.
  2. Review the imported order. If the link cannot be read, ask the agent how to submit the item. Check quantity, seller instructions and the complete first payment before confirming.
  3. Watch the order status. A purchase request is not confirmation that the seller has dispatched it. Answer requests about stock or substitutions before the agent proceeds.
  4. Review warehouse QC. Compare the item, size label, quantity and visible condition with the order. Ask for a specific close-up or measurement if needed. Photos cannot establish authenticity, hidden durability or how a garment fits.
  5. Keep, clarify or return. If the item differs from the order, contact support before dispatch and ask about eligibility, seller approval, deadline and return costs. Do not assume a green light from another shopper is a warranty.
  6. Submit the parcel. Choose accepted items and suitable protection. Compare the route’s billed-weight rule, tracking and cover; complete an accurate declaration and pay the international quote.
  7. Track and receive. Keep the parcel number and follow the carrier handover. For stalled tracking, contact the agent with the last scan. Photograph visible delivery damage, retain the label and packaging and report missing goods promptly.

QC, GL and RL

QC means quality check. GL (green light) and RL (red light) are community shorthand for accepting or rejecting what photos show. They are not the agent’s return decision; use the order’s support channel to request action.
