Six of the ten exist to take something out
Between the quality check and dispatch the warehouse can change the parcel itself. The official add-on list has ten services on it. Six remove weight or volume, four add protection, and the page puts a price on none of them.
That silence is worth stating plainly rather than guessing around: across all eighteen official help pages the only parcel-related amounts printed anywhere are the rehearsal fee, the post-packing cancellation fee and the extended storage rate. If you want to know what vacuum packing costs, the order page at the time you choose it is the only place that says.

Which service to ask for, and what it is actually for
Matched to the five groups. The right-hand column is the cost of asking, which the official page is unusually direct about.

The service that tells you whether any of it was worth it
A parcel rehearsal is a simulated packing done before you formally submit. The warehouse packs it, measures it, weighs it and quotes it, and the result is reference information rather than a commitment to ship.
Reading the QC photos for numbers, not for looks
The QC photos that appear after warehousing are the first time anyone on your side sees the goods out of the seller's photography. For this guide's purposes they are a packing document: what the item actually is, how much original packaging came with it, and whether the box around it is rigid or foldable.
Reading the QC photos that way, before you choose any add-on, is what turns a vague worry about volume into a decision you can price.
It costs CNY 20, paid in advance
The official page lists comparing packing methods, deciding on shoebox or packaging removal, checking volumetric weight exposure and reducing the chance of an additional payment among the reasons to use it.
The fee comes back only if you go through with it
Submit the same parcel formally afterwards and the CNY 20 may be fully deducted from the final shipping fee. Do not submit it, or cancel it, and the fee is not refunded.
If the user does not proceed with that parcel after the rehearsal, or cancels the parcel afterward, the CNY 20 rehearsal fee will not be refunded.

Changing the order cancels the rehearsal
Any adjustment to the related order afterwards, a return, a replacement, a change of quantity, ends the rehearsal. The fee is not refunded or carried over, and a new rehearsal means paying again.
It is usually done within one working day
Which makes it a decision you can take inside the storage window rather than a reason to delay the parcel by a week.
Before any of this, the tags decide which routes you can see
Mailing restriction tags are attached to each product after it arrives at the warehouse and passes a basic inspection, based on category, brand, material, form, size and weight. When you submit the parcel the system reads every item's tags and filters the route list accordingly.
When you submit a parcel, the system will automatically filter and display available international shipping routes according to the restriction tags of all items in the parcel.

Removable

Only some restricted, sensitive and route-adaptation tags can be re-verified through customer service, and any risk stays with the user.
Permanent

Prohibited items cannot be submitted and the restriction can never be removed. Route, size and destination limits are not about the goods at all.
